The Greythorne name is an old one that while originally belonging to a Calpheonian noble house, has over time become intricately linked to the criminal syndicate that is generally referred to with the same monikker by those who ply their trade in the shadows of society. As an organization, the group operates more like a meritocracy. The station of one's birth doesn't matter nearly as much as what they are capable of. The bright and the talented rise above their less gifted peers.

While we are an RP guild, we also hold a healthy interest in the other aspects of the game and tend to do our share PvE content such as scroll and guild bosses, as well as ocean content from time to time.
• Age Requirements
We have an age restriction of 18+ as a guild to foster a certain level of maturity in our community and due to the overall theme of the guild.
We're all human and the occasional disagreement is bound to happen. However we expect people to try to resolve them like adults. If this proves to be impossible, our officers will step in and take action.
Honesty is the best policy when it comes to our guild. Whether it concerns voicing an opinion to the officers or handling a dispute with another member, we expect both our members and officers to be truthful, respectful and open-minded. The more you give us, the more we can give you.
No matter what race, gender, sexuality, or other labels you happen to fall under, we want you to feel welcome here. We will not tolerate any offensive slurs or malicious behavior directed at another member.
To put it simply, we do not tolerate god-modding or meta-gaming within the guild. We recognize that mistakes happen; however, this type of power-gaming can ruin the fun, and immersion of everyone involved. If this happens, it will need to be addressed.
Updated the original thread since we've made some changes since its first posting.
RP-PvX > Social-RP-PvE:
Since PvP hasn't been a focus anymore for a while now, it didn't make sense to leave it there. It'll still happen on occasion as it's part of the game, but it won't be actively pursued. We've also opened the guild concept up to include "social" members, AKA those who might not be RPers, but are RP friendly. Or those whose character concepts may not fit the guild IC, but still want to be part of us on an OOC level.
