“Though a Goblin, he gained people's trust by painstakingly handling tasks put before him. He ended up managing the guild in Olvia after showing his ability to deal with the complicated and sensitive aspects of such work.”
A race of small, intelligent creatures. While generally not trusted by Human, Goblins are often used as workers. They are thought to be of sub-human intellect, only capable of simple labor. By nature they are cowardly and often live in groups or tribes. Some have organised into actual organisations such as excevation crews. Goblins and Ogres share a common language, or a related one as Goblins are able to interpret Ogres.
Other Goblins, not living amongst humans, can be dangerous and openly hostile towards others. Such as the Mansha Goblins, a tribe which lives in the inner forests of the Trent area (Calpheon). They are a closed-off society, and some of them are dangerously hostile.

The number of Goblins increased in remote areas, farms and urban streets. Calling them workers may… Isn’t it dangerous to hire monsters at such low wages? Hiring Goblin workers comes with the added risk of being confronted with their inherent nature.
Goblin Intelligence, by unknown.
It is a well-known fact that Goblins are intelligent enough to speak Human tongue. But people are relatively unaware that they started to behave more systematically after Giath appeared on the scene deep inside their cave. Scholars are trying to interpret the murals on the exterior of the cave to learn more about Goblins. They can’t get to the ones deep inside because Giath hates having his territory intruded upon.
