Upper Class of Heidel
Carolin; Her whole family perished due to the Black Death and she found herself working as a maid for the royal family. Despite her job she still possessed a strong desire to study and has become quite knowledgeable as a result. She considers dignity and sophistication to be virtues and puts value in maintaining the appearance of someone from the upper class. The only person who makes her nervous is the ill-mannered Jarette. Constellation: Black Dragon.
George Fusto; George Fusto is a luxury vendor in Heidel. Many Heidelians used to come see him for his smart humor, but not lately. Because he now totally immersed in Elionism, even wearing the Elionian robe everywhere. Since most Heidelians think ill of Calpheon, they are keeping an eye on his behavior. Constellation: Elephant.
Grace Lauren; Known as the Queen of Heidel Market Street, she once took over the whole of Heidel business operations using the power of her noble background and the help of the Lord Domongatt. She also became the first Head of the League of Merchants after tremendously contributing to the establishment of the union. She has handed over the presidency to her cousin Bobby Lauren, and is running a big inn near Heidel Castle now at the advice of Jordine.
After Heidel became the capital of Serendia, chaos erupted from the inrush of merchants. Competition for good spots and destructive price drops caused product quality to decline significantly. The one who put a stop to all this was a noblewoman from Serendia, Grace Lauren. She suggested regulations and order through the guild, and taught merchants professionalism. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Bobby Lauren; The head of the League of Merchants in Heidel, he put the association hall up as security for a loan from the Calpheon Currency Exchange Center. However, the strike by the Artisan Guild disrupted his business plans and now the association hall is about to be handed over to Calpheon because he couldn’t retrieve the money from his investment. His is a supporter of Grand Chamberlain Jordine, but in reality it is Jordine that ends up having to help him more. When the Artisan Guild strike is sorted out, he plans to start trade negotiations with Mediah. Constellation: Elephant.
Jordine Ducas; The young, enterprising, and ambitious Grand Chamberlain of Heidel. He lost his parents during the Calpheon invasion, and joined the military at the standard draft age of 19. Cliff recognized his intellect and, with Cliff’s recommendation, he became the chamberlain of the Lord of Heidel. He came to be called “Sir” at the age of 27 after being engaged to Jarette, the lord’s daughter. Because the lord has grown weary of governing, he now has Jordine engaging in domestic political affairs in his stead. Constellation: Giant.
Lord Crucio Domongatt; even after having been demoted to the position of lord, still enjoys a luxurious meal. His favorite wine is always in full stock in the basement, and he has his maid Carolin select the best ingredients everyday. He wouldn’t even try anything that was not made by a court chef. His staple justification: “By looking for the best and freshest ingredients I am providing crucial support for quality farms and their farmers.”
Jarette Domongatt; Jarette, the youngest daughter of the lord of Heidel. She was the only surviving prodigy of Crucio Domongatt after the Heidel Castle fire during the war, a fire she escaped with the help of Cliff. Having been raised as the sole object of affection for the Lord of Heidel, she is snooty and looks down on everyone except the disciplinarian Carolin, who scolds her regularly for her attitude. Recently she has been trying to learn more about the Ancient Stone Chamber, since her fiancé Jordine has interest in Black Stones and has requested ruins specialist Edan to investigate the chamber. Constellation: Charioteer.
Cleia; Cleia was personally selected by the Lord Jordine to be marketplace Director at the Heidel Marketplace. She manages all market transactions in Heidel. When Bobby Lauren, Head of the League of Merchants, fell into a critical situation, Cleia took is place. Cleia has quite the background as well, one based in nobility. Her father was an important figure in imperial trade, and Cleia wants to carry on the family line and become the best marketplace director Heidel has ever had. Constellation: Elephant.
Foreigner of Serendia
Mernuah; She was raised with Lani. Unlike Lani, Mernuah is too chicken-hearted to become a merchant. Oliviero helped her settle down next to him, but she’s still trembling at a Red Orc’s cry. Constellation: Camel.
Yaz; Her nationality is unknown. The only thing known for sure is that she is one of Edan’s companions. Usually, she does nothing but eat and sleep. However, Edan and Orwen say she has a special gift, which is still shrouded in mystery. Constellation: ??
Hakkon; A priest who infiltrated the Kzarka Shrine. His identity is unknown. Constellation: Charioteer.
Moniku; Moniku is an Otter and a vendor at Southwestern Gateway. Otters are known for their extreme desire to fish, and Moniku is unhappy because he is stationed far away from any seas or rivers. Still, his optimistic character entertains everyone around him. Constellation: Camel.
Dawson; A Black Crystal expert sent from Calpheon that manages the Extraction Mill facility near the Northwestern Gateway. He is upset with the Calpheon Parliament for sending him to middle of nowhere in Serendia. He also has a secret connection with Jordine, and is being tempted by his offers. He normally doesn’t express his thoughts and feelings, making him quite unpredictable. Constellation: Key.
Jemkas Wyrmsbane; The brother of Heidel skill instructor Cruhorn. He manages workers at the quarry. He is proud of his brother who values honor over money, unlike himself. His brother’s influence has led him to hate Calpheon, and everything he says starts with, “My brother said…” He adores his brother that much, and they have a similar personality. Constellation: Hammer.
Occlein; The bishop of Serendia Shrine. Though he is currently situated among the Cultists who long for the resurrection of Kzarka, he is skeptical about the whole thing and is against the abduction of young maidens by the Monastery. He is secretly working with like-minded priests among the Cultists and is looking for adventurers who will stop the resurrection of Kzarka. Constellation: Boat.
Isobelle Encarotia; The Xian Merchant Guild branch head. She rose to the position so quickly at the behest of her father, a currency exchange center owner. She is meticulous and will do anything for profit. Her first orders of duty upon coming to Heidel are collateral recovery and market domination. She is thinking about how to deal with the Grand Chamberlain Jordine after their first few exchanges have ended in petty arguments. Constellation: Charioteer.
Povios; Known as the right-hand of the Xian Merchant Guild, he works with Isobelle at the behest of the guild. He is a native of Calpheon and he lost his father in the previous war with Heidel. His large physique makes him an intimidating presence. He talks as rough as his appearance would suggests he should, and he is quite strong. Constellation: Hammer.
Eil; An Elionian priest from Calpheon. He lists to the sorrows and anguish of Heidelian followers of Elionism, advises them, and prays for their souls. He seems weak given that he is asking people to find an escaped rabbit for him, but rumor says that he killed a boar that appeared in the city with just one arrow. Constellation: Charioteer.
Robey Hone; Though he calls himself an Orc researcher, people aren’t so sure. He brags about his “academic findings” without actually presenting core evidence of his research. The Serendian army needs information on Orcs nonetheless, so he gets paid anyway. Constellation: ??
Techthon; A Blacksmith with 30 years of experience. He came from the deserted land of the Dwarves. He experienced things nobody should have to go through before he made it to Heidel. Lord Domongatt accepted him when he was at the very end of his rope. He stubbornly refuses to do business with anyone other than the Heidelians who accepted him and he doesn’t seek profit. Constellation: Shield.
Constante; Manages the Golden Toad Inn owned by Bobby Lauren. Just a few months ago, the Golden Toad Inn was the most popular spot in Heidel, but the Xian Merchant Guild disrupted business a little. However, his optimistic character means he will not complain and he remain positive while awaiting an upturn in customers. Constellation: Boat.
Siuta; In her heyday men lined up for miles to ask her on dates. She finally married into a rich family and learned the ropes of trading while helping with her husband’s business. Her tendency toward precision lead her to become trade manager of Heidel. She is known to have far surpassed her husband regarding trade-related matters. Constellation: Elephant.
Melissa Brady; Melissa is a pet manager in Heidel. Though owning a pet wasn’t popular in Heidel before, it has become quite the latest trend since the lord’s daughter Jarette was seen with a cat. She ignores stable keeper Izaro’s love for her because he is from Calpheon. She secretly loves Grand Chamberlain Jordine, and often talks ill of his fiancée Jarette. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Luciano Pietro; Brother of Laiano Pietro from Balenos. He keeps insisting Laiano move to Heidel for a better life, though his brother never listens. He bought a house in Heidel cheaply during the chaos of the war and now makes a tidy profit renting out its rooms. He plans to earn even more by winning an auction position. He dislikes the Lord for taxes, and Jordine for creating anxiety in town. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Vangelas; Manager of the Valley Lily Inn in Heidel. He is also the trusted butler of the Lauren family. He still assists and advises Grace Lauren, addressing her as “Miss”. He’s been a single man his whole life, even now that his hair has turned grey. When asked if he’s lonely, he answers that the Laurens are like family to him, and all he needs in life. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Lara; A Shai lady from Glish. She does business with Alchemist Freharau in her faraway hometown to get the best potions, which she trades honestly in Heidel. She lives at the orphanage. Despite her difficult childhood as a war orphan, Lara is naturally kind and cheerful. She brightens the day of many she comes across. Constellation: Camel.
Caresto Fonti; “Do all things cheerfully and without hesitation.” That is his motto. He sent his wife and children to Heidel Castle City to ensure their safety. Strangely not many people know that he has a wife and children. Constellation: Charioteer.
Ornella; She lost her family at the age of 17 during the war against Calpheon and succeeded her father’s work as a weapon vendor in Heidel from a young age. She hates Calpheon. She supports Jordine who insists on invading Calpheon, and she is willing to join the military whenever the war breaks out. Constellation: Charioteer.
Plabiano; A man with no family who suffers from agnosia and therefore cannot remember one face from another, something that is a big problem for a merchant like himself. In order to buy something from him, you have to tell him your name first, which can be bothersome. Still, many customers seek him out for his high quality ingredients. Constellation: Camel.
Lebyos; A furniture vendor from Mediah. With Mediah at the center between Calpheon and Valencia, he presents exotic and urban furniture clearly different from Heidel’s. He is popular among the ladies for his skill with his hands and his conversational skills. He never sells a piece of furniture unless it meets his own standards. Constellation: Shield.
Olivia Pietro; An artisan chef renowned for teaching the art of cooking to many would-be chefs. She is also the life of Luciano Pietro, Heidel’s building manager. Many come to her pleading to be received as students, but only those with extremely good taste can be taken under her wing. Constellation: Shield.
Puia; A Shai girl who loves animals so much that she decided to become a trainer. Although it is very hard to guess how old Puia is, she is very popular in the Heidel market street for her cuteness and friendly personality. She does not have a fixed list of items for sale yet. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Joel; He manages and sometimes recommends workers in Heidel. He was a member of a group of bandits once, but his heart is pure. He is a good fighter and a bit prickly, but has more than met his match in the arms merchant Ornella, a stubborn lady who he has fallen in love with but who must be approached with great care. Constellation: Hammer.
Amerigo; He became the first second-generation storage keeper in Heidel after succeeding his father’s warehouse. He takes a lot of pride in his work and this naturally attracts the people’s trust. Though he doesn’t covet money, he sometimes looks at Luciano both with envy and suspicious since Luciano’s accumulation of a huge amount of wealth was through buying houses during the war. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Dora Fonti; Her husband is a craftsman, and she sells crystals as a member of the League of Merchants. Her scrupulousness never permits discounts, but customers keep coming to Dora for her artisanship. Since she does not have a child, she is trying to adopt a cute and friendly Shai girl named Lara, but Lara does not seem to want it, saying she has to stay at the orphanage. Constellation: Hammer.
Officers of Serendia
Alugren; Commander of the Central Outpost. He used to be decisive and magnanimous, but command at the Central Outpost has made him quite ornery over the years. Soldiers are always on edge in anticipation of his sharp commands. Still, he considers his work his calling and does his utmost to fulfill his duty. Constellation: Hammer.
Vype Stoner; Vype Stoner manufactures siege cannonballs. His unique cannonball incorporates design elements from each country around the world, and their effectiveness caught the eye of the Grand Chamberlain. Because cannonballs are only needed when a siege is being prepared, he also has the role of managing the quarry. Vype came from Dwarfland, and settled down in Heidel with the Wrymsbanes. Though he is a good friend of Jemkas, he dislikes how Jemkas speaks to him as if he were a brother. Constellation: Boat.
Hervano Tito; A former farmer who came from the same village as Al Rhundi and Biraghi. When Al Rhundi joined the rebels and Biraghi became Rogue Chief, people suspected Hervano might be of the same ilk. He is a little ignorant, but is a straightforward and energetic fellow. He has a little kid, and is annoyed that he cannot go on vacation because of the Rebels. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Xaviero Vitello; He was promoted to captain for his excellent combat techniques. He demonstrates such techniques in front of his soldiers out of his love for them. Being a good friend of Cliff, he always says positive things about him whenever young soldiers talk about Jordine. Constellation: Shield.
Romano Prospero; As the guard commander of the Northwestern Gateway guards, he is highly trusted by Jordine for his abilities. Despite being pampered by Jordine’s excellent care, greedy Romano is never satisfied. He sometimes allows unauthorized wagons to pass without even charging them fees. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Cheremio; An investigator from Heidel Castle sent by the order of Jordine. His mission is to investigate the Glish Ruins and Black Stones. His imported clothing gives people the impression he’s a foreigner. He even wears some imports from Calpheon. His attire has caused some friction between him and the vehemently anti-Calpheonian Jordine, but even Jordine can’t stand in the way of his passion. Constellation: Charioteer.
Ceasar; The young right hand man of Jordine. He is reliable and of good character. His mission to prevent another “destructive incident” in Glish. Most guys envy Ceasar because of his young and adorable wife Seilane. Some even ask him for tips on how to deal with the ladies. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Cruhorn Wyrmsbane; He was driven from the west during the war there a long time ago, and finally settled down in Serendia. A self-made man, he advanced up the rankings to his current level of skill instructor on his own. He regrets that he doesn’t have the reputation that Cliff and Armstrong have because he fought at the rear during the war. He is on friendly terms with Cliff, but sees Armstrong, a fellow skill instructor, as a rival. Constellation: Camel.
Theonil; The trade manager of Serendia’s Southwestern Gateway. Theonil is anxious every day because he hasn’t settled down and bought a home anywhere yet. He dreamed about laying down the roots in Heidel, but now he is willing to go anywhere that needs him. Constellation: Hammer.
Ginta; The trade manager of Serendia’s Western Gateway. Ginta worked so hard to become a soldier, but she was always left behind in missions because she wasn’t good at anything. Eventually she was given the job of managing trade at the Western Gateway. Though she is dissatisfied, she always does her best. Constellation: Hammer.
Xenians; The trade manager at Serendia’s Central Gateway. Because he is located in such a rough place, Xenians thanks every merchant who took the trouble to visit him. However he is also a proud man, and dislikes anyone who looks down on him. That is why he’s on ill terms with Larc from Glish. Constellation: Hammer.
Breman; The trade manager of Serendia’s Eastern Gateway. Being a former soldier, he is quite egocentric, and this often causes friction with some merchants. Breman thinks all his problems are because of the kind of work he is doing, and he wants to head to Heidel as soon as possible. Constellation: Charioteer.
Anti; The trade manager of Serendia’s Southern Gateway. Though he was originally from an army officer (a position he still holds), he also manages trade. He has excelled at this role due to his affable personality. Working two jobs was not an easy decision, but he realized he was born to be a business man after he took on the role. Constellation: Shield.
Guards of Serendia
Francil; Formerly optimistic and bright, he has become very irritable recently due to spiders everywhere, just like Captain Alugrin. He wants to transfer to another post, but his interest in Glish’s trader Larc has kept him right at Central Outpost. Constellation: Boat.
Messian; Despite being terrified of anything with more than four legs, somehow fate saw it fit to have him stationed at the Central Outpost. She has Francil, who is always near, to talk to about her problems, but this usually never helps. Though she likes working for the decisive Captain Alugrin, lately she has been doing a lot of thinking about what she really wants in life. Constellation: Hammer.
Partia; She hates falling behind men more than anything, so she never stops physical and technical training. She has very strong faith and an iron will. It’s not that she dislikes Mael’s straightforward marriage proposal, but she is not happy with his job and his fantasies about going on a journey. Constellation: Hammer.
Di Lanoa; A guard at the Northwestern Gateway Extraction Mill. He’s very talkative and getting sick of his job. He’s been complaining much more recently, so his colleagues are avoiding him. He says didn’t complain much in the beginning and that other people made him like this. He used to work hard, but got no recognition, so he lost all motivation to work properly. Constellation: ??
Barios; A soldier who has been transferred an unprecedented three times in his career. In the first place he was stationed spiders were everywhere. He was always running away and now he has developed a form of neurosis. Just after being stationed in Glish he began complaining about how he doesn’t like Fogans. People say that he is just a coward and is overly sensitive. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Piarre; A sentry guard stationed in Glish. The only family she has left is a younger sibling in Heidel. She decided to take up her post as a guard to offer a better life to her younger sibling, but she constantly thinks about quitting and taking up a less unusual trade. She admires Heidelian nobles. She’s pretty sure she could marry some nobleman anytime she wants, but she’d rather look brave and make her young sibling proud. Constellation: Shield.
Ramart Moretti; An intrepid and swift thinker who usually does scouting duty for the Northwestern Gateway. He has been noticed by Romano for being very capable despite his young age. He was supposed to succeed the Moretti farm, but his sister Mercianne understood his dream to be a soldier, and took over the farm instead. His sister recently remarried after being a widow for so long and this has brought him much relief. Constellation: ??
Kael; A guard working at the eastern Gateway. He’s from a rural town originally, and he lost his older brother when he died standing in opposition to the peasant Rebels. He joined up with the guards posted right in front of the Rebel base hoping for revenge. He aims to wipe out the rebels and return to his parents on the farm. Constellation: ??
Berman; He wants to open his own restaurant but doesn’t have the money yet, so for now he is just a cook. He always invents new foods and new recipes that he will use in his own fancy restaurant someday. He constantly speculates on where this place will be. He hopes to take over the Golden Toad Inn and turn it into a restaurant for fine dining. Constellation: Giant.
Maul; A Fogan researcher and Captain at the Southwestern Post. The only Shai girl in the area. She tries to converse and negotiate with the Fogans rather than fight with them. She knows the story of why they migrated here, and believes there is a reason for the Fogans’ violent behavior. She frequently asks adventurers to capture Fogans for research. Constellation: Key.
Enrico Mancinie; The only guard at the Heidel Castle Gate from the Glish Ruins. He joined the guards to support his family after the village was destroyed. Some people ask him about the mystery of how the first town of Glish was destroyed, but it is a horrendous memory for Enrico, one that he doesn’t want to revisit. Constellation: Elephant.
Alzath; A farm worker at the Moretti Farm in Serendia. It is said that if you know Alzath well you’ll be able to get in touch with excellent workers. Constellation: Giant.
Acher; A worker at the Extraction Mill in Serendia. It is said that if you know Acher well you’ll be able to get in touch with excellent workers. Constellation: Shield.
Diochre; A farm worker at the Elda Farm in Serendia. It is said that if you know Diochre well you’ll be able to get in touch with excellent workers. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Jugruta; A farm worker at the Lynch Ranch in Serendia. It is said that if you know Jugruta well you’ll be able to get in touch with excellent workers. Constellation: Key.
Torres; A farm worker at the Alejandro Farm in Serendia. It is said that if you know Torres well you’ll be able to get in touch with excellent workers. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Hannes; A strong, diligent man who has been living in the grain belt for 5 years now. Only the constant monster raids on the farm and crops could cause a man such as him such strain. He tried to leave the Moretti Farm after becoming fed up with the lack of support from the soldiers of the Eastern Gateway, but Mercianne persuaded him to stay. He has no expectations whatsoever from the soldiers and would rather put his trust in a passing mercenary. Constellation: Camel.
Zara Lynch; She lost her farm and husband to Imps. She sells food to passing adventurers for a living and asks them to avenge her husband. The unbelievable shock and sorrow of her loss seems to have twisted her mind. She appears anxious and maybe on the verge of a nervous breakdown. For some reason it is hard to trust anything she says. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Mercianne Moretti; She took up sole ownership of the Moretti Farm after losing her husband to monsters. After 8 years as a widow, she married Oliviero the stable keeper. After the war Oliviero was stationed in the neutral region and the two were separated. Yet, her experience seeing her brother Ramart sent far away to guard the Northwestern Gateway seems to have prepared her for it. Despite their separation, they remain deeply and unconditionally in love. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Ficy; Ficy runs the Serendia Workshop, which is full of cutting edge equipment from all over the world. The shop was about to expand and hire more people, but the war against Calpheon put a stop to all that. The unsettled atmosphere in Heidel at the moment has led to a drop in customers. Constellation: Hammer.
Fatoos; His family has been operating a big farm in the south for generations. It is getting hard to manage the farm due to the wild animals and bugs everywhere. The well has been drying up lately, which adds another layer to his problems. The farm is always short-handed since his older brother died in the war, and people don’t trust him to run things because they know he isn’t nearly as skilled. Fatoos also knows this, and is very worried. Constellation: Elephant.
Coco Elda; her father went missing long ago after getting involved with the peasant Rebels. Managing a farm is not an easy job, but she tries to survive. She is always optimistic and looks forward to a better tomorrow. Jordine became the man of her dreams after she saw him once at the Heidel Dance, but realistically, she wants someone who’ll love her and no other. Constellation: Shield.
Amadeo Alejandro; He owns a farm in the south. He sent his wife and children off to Heidel Castle City for their safety. He cannot deal with the infestation of Parasitic Bees alone anymore. He tried to negotiate with the Rebels by supplying them food behind Heidel’s back, but recently some Rebels broke the treaty and looted the farm. Constellation: Giant.
Murana Lynch; His anger had been at a constant simmer since his farm was burnt down during an Imp raid. But he finally got his mind right again and now lives on a mountaintop with his sheep as his only companions. He actually comes from a family famous for making cannonballs. And Murana Lynch is no exception; the first thing he packed before his escape during the imp attack was the cannonball manual he inherited. Constellation: Sealing Stone. Murana, like Lara, believes he lost his wife in the Imp raid. However, she is still alive.
Mael; Though he is the owner of the Costa Farm, he has practically become a mercenary given how much he hunts monsters around his own and neighboring farms by request. If Partia consents to marry him, he plans to put her in charge of the farm and head out on a journey as a real mercenary. But what would Partia think?
Hunt; A diligent employee at the Valley Lily Inn in Heidel. His father, a mercenary, passed away while fighting for the peasants in the rebellion. He’s worked for Grace since she was in charge of the Merchants’ Union, when he earned her trust. Now she has him working at her inn for that very reason. He’s secretly in love with her, but at the same time think it’s impossible to overcome the class barriers between them. Constellation: Hammer.
Carlo DeRose; A trap expert living at Dernyl Farm who became the primary caretaker of his daughter after his wife passed away. He sells traps to those in need. Lately he has become concerned about panic-stricken rumors of Cultists in the Monastery abducting young maidens for sacrifice. It is his wife’s nearby grave that keeps him at Dernyl Farm. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Larc; She came to Glish to conduct trade between Heidel and Mediah. She is quite boisterous and not stereotypically feminine. Her personality has made her quite popular. She sometimes sells alchemy ingredients obtained from Mediah to Frehaurau and secretly is involved in trading Black Crystals with Jordine. Her sister’s name is Deborah. Allan, a stable keeper also came from the same village as them. Constellation: Sealing Stone. Known Acquaintances: Glish Villager, Deborah, Allan, Francil, and Xenians.
Daniela DeRose; The daughter of Carlo DeRose, living on the Dernyl Farm. Her father is her only family, but he is always drunk and incompetent in her mind. She actively helps out around the Dernyl Farm in place of her father. Although she does menial work, she has saved some money and hopes to move beyond these picket fences and travel around to many different places when she enters adulthood. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Bach; A manager of workers in Glish. He works at the Extraction Mill in his spare time. It is said that he is working this hard to bring his daughter back from the orphanage. He is known for not talking about himself. Constellation: Camel.
Frenil; Frenil, the younger brother of Dernyl of Dernyl Farm, always liked people and wanted to do something that involved more people than general farm work. He took off for the Serendian capital of Heidel dreaming of becoming a trader, but couldn’t hack it and returned after three years. He started working as a porter in Glish after his brother introduced him to someone, and he slowly adapted to the job. Now he runs a warehouse with the approval of Freharau. Constellation: Giant.
Deborah; The sister of the merchant named Larc. Just like her, she is from Mediah. She’s a kind woman and really very pleasant to be around, but many assume she is devoted to celibacy. Amaranto; An old maid just beyond a marriageable age. Her stubborn personality repels almost every man, even Urahr, who absolutely adores almost every woman alive. She often bets with Kardash to kill time, but hasn’t won a single game. Still, she refuses to acknowledge any of her losses. Such stubbornness lends to the extreme pride she takes in selling quality weapons. Constellation: Hammer.
Lionel Riche; The priest of a very recently constructed church in Glish. He is new from Calpheon and yet to be officially appointed. He will officially be recognized by the Order of Priests in Calpheon after he succeeds in propagating Elionism throughout Glish. He is doing his utmost to spread the teachings of Elion to the villagers of Glish. Constellation: Goblin.
Dernyl; Demibeasts are by nature peaceful but curious. That’s probably why Dernyl is more into studying how to kick out the Fogans than managing a farm. Maul from the Southwestern Post sometimes visits Dernyl to learn more about his groundbreaking approach to catching Fogans as it develops, so he must be doing something useful. Recently he apparently found out how to bait Fogans using Crow Feathers. Constellation: Black Dragon.
Frehaurau; The current chief of Glish and an alchemist. As a native of the first Glish, he is trusted by the villagers. He was fast friends with Donatt before the first Glish was reduced to rubble, but differences in opinion eventually caused them to grow apart. He blames himself for not preventing Donatt from heading down a dark path, eventually becoming a Mudster. He misses his old friend dearly. Constellation: Elephant
Laurena; Brother of Oliviero in the neutralized area. They both grew up with horses, so it was natural for him to become a stable keeper. Came from the same village as Al Rhundi, the central figure of the peasant revolution. He was also close to Hervano, but he grew hostile toward Hervano after Al Rhundi and Hervano have turned against each other. He is always thinking about leaving the eastern entrance. Constellation: Hammer.
Urahr; He imports clean water from other towns instead of the contaminated water from the Extraction Mill. He works with trade manager Larc. His biggest agenda at this point is finding a woman to marry. Whenever a female adventurer passes by, he flirts with her saying she looks like his mother. Constellation: Goblin.
Ambrosia; though he works as a stable keeper now, he fought in the last war as a soldier. He feels that it was his fault his country lost and Heidel Castle was put to flames. His personality is explosive, and he hates Calpheonians. Nobody talks about Calpheon in front of him. Constellation: Hammer.
Kanna; as an artist, Kanna enriches life in Glish. She sells traditional Naga figurines to adventurers. Sometimes, she puts on wacky costumes. She has few friends in the unpopulated village, so she became fast friends with the newest resident, Seilane. The constant flow of figurines from Kanna also made Seilane’s General Goods Shop overflow with Naga figurines. Constellation: Key.
Kardash; A rough-looking Orc Blacksmith that many adventurers are frightened to get their equipment fixed from. But he’s actually very kind and has a good send of humor. He loves betting, especially with Amaranto. He may have feelings for her, but he never loses regardless. Constellation: Hammer.
Seilane; Glish Guard Commander Ceasar’s wife. They got married despite an age difference of 14 years. While enjoying her honeymoon, Ceasar was deployed to Glish by Jordine’s command. She followed him and settled down in Glish. She is quote outgoing, and sells recovery potions obtained from Freharau. Constellation: Boat.
Delmo; A sensitive person who thinks the environment around the central outpost doesn’t suit him. He wants to move to a different stable, but is afraid to ask Captain Alugrin. He always looks haggard as a result of the humid climate and the spiders everywhere. His facial expression tells you all you need to know about the situation at the Central Outpost. Constellation: Treant Owl.
Publio; Northwestern Gateway stable keeper. His connection with Dawson gave him the job at the Northwestern Gateway. As he is a blunt guy, he is happy that the place is quiet and unpopulated. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Oliviero; Stable keeper of the neutral zone. A rough fella, nobody can order him around as he was once a famous mercenary. He is mostly quiet, but when he speaks, he weighs every word. Recently married to Mercianne, a widow with a child, but his stable is near the rogue camp. He volunteered to be stationed there as nobody did. He loves and thanks Mercianne for understanding this. Constellation: Shield.
Allan; A stable keeper who originally came from Mediah together with the sisters Larc and Deborah. He had never considered running a stable before, but Larc’s recommendation persuaded him. He understands women very well since he has been hanging out with Larc and Deborah from a very young age. Constellation: Sealing Stone.
Izaro; A stable keeper from Calpheon who sells quality Calpheonian Horses in Heidel. Some dislike him simply because he is from Calpheon. In spite of this, he now considers himself a Heidelian. He likes Melissa and wants to marry her. Constellation: Boat.
Vanacil; A demi-beast. He spent more time with animals than with friends from a very young age, and he eventually became a stable keeper. He is running a stable at Heidel Castle entrance, close to the Northern Checkpoint. He has created many repeat businesses thanks to his honesty and character. He pretends not to care about Calpheonian Izaro’s stable, but he is secretly keeping an eye on it. Constellation: Goblin.
Lorenzo Murray; Velia’s stable keeper and news source. He collects various news from various places. He loves animals, and has an interest in Clorince who sells healing potions nearby. Having never in decades dated a girl before, days go by without him saying a word. Constellation: Hammer.
Bartholomeo; The Calpheon Wharf manager. Bartholomeo is proud of his job because every adventurer on a boat must meet him first before going into the city. He also loves the fact that he can be the first one to introduce the great city of Calpheon to them. Constellation: Camel.
Silen; Heidel’s wharf manager. Silen from Florin was attracted to exploring rivers and the seas more than the scent of herbs. When he was old enough he left Florin right away, and went to Heidel. Heidel was a huge and beautiful city for the little boy. He thought it was perfect and decided to settle down. The people of Heidel adore him for his sparkling character. Constellation: Hammer.
Barossa; The Western Guard Camp dock manager. Barossa wanted to join the navy, but unfortunately Serendia doesn’t have one. With Feinia’s help, Barossa came to the Western Guard Camp and is taking care of the supplies and safety of the adventurers while managing the dock. Constellation: Shield.
Croix; The Velia Ferry manager. He is a sentimental giant. He once dreamt of casting off and sailing aimlessly to the horizon. He tried this a few times only to suffer shipwreck due to his own lack of sailing skills. Croix eventually gave up on that dream and started supporting other would-be sailors in Velia. Constellation: Shield.
