A coastal territory North of Serendia, the climate is warm and ideal for agriculture. The territory is covered in many and dense forests, through which the Balenos River flows. Balenos is currently under the control of Calpheon.
The founding King of Balenos was Bartali, crowned after the death of the king at Cron Castle in Eastern-Balenos. The reign of Bartali ended with Bartali III, a hero who prevented catastrophes using the Ramones, the guardians of Balenos in times of war or disaster. It is said that the Ramones is shaped like a Black Stone, and it is unknown how it led to victory in the war and by what kind of power. These days descendants of the Bartali family are still chief of Olvia and Velia.
Not much is known about the current political climate of the Balenos territory, in fact the largest towns in the territory are both known for their quiet lifestyle. It is said that Balenos fell behind because of the Creed of Baritt:
"Economic development is unnecessary, and it is the road to destruction."
Since then this is no longer implemented because cultural exchanges between states have now become necessary for economic development. Without the ensuing trade from such exchanges, a society will be narrow in scope.

Thermian was the name of the adventurer who came all the way from Calpheon, passed through Balenos and finally settled down in Olvia.

The Elder's Bridge connects two steep cliffs of a canyon dividing Western Balenos and Northern Calpheon. The origin of its name comes from the curved shape of the bridge which resembles the bent back of an elderly person. Its funny name aside, this structure is no good as a defensive position. Its curved shape prevents defenders from seeing whatever is coming across the bridge.
Vigilantes guard the bridge, though there is no real need for them to be there. The word “Elder” has become somewhat symbolic, and a lot of old men volunteer to guard there. They spend most of the time peacefully moaning about the good ol’ days.
A gateway connecting Olvia and Florin. It is used for a great deal of trade by both these towns. It also functions as a direct route to Calpheon without passing through Heidel.
Most of Olvia Coast is sandy beach, and a lot of creatures make their way here to cool down. On top of its value as a tourist destination, the Balenos climate makes this place a hard sell for development, though there are many who have interest in doing so.
